Welcome to the plant archive! We are specifically focusing on re-introducing grasslands species of the volcanic plains to the garden space, given our proximity to the merri merri (Merri Creek) and it’s unique ecology. Much of the merri merri catchment is underpinned by rich clay soils and was populated by grasslands communities prior to colonisation. Our patch is a small way to learn about, honor and care for Woi-wurrung Country. We are always keen to show you where these plants are and have a chat. Sometimes we also have seeds to share ~ come and say hello!
